South End Kitchens designers will take the guesswork out of the process while listening to your needs and wants providing versatility, outstanding value and fine craftsmanship of built-to-order Wood-Mode© Fine Custom Cabinetry.
Is your style European Traditional, Classic American Designs or Eclectic or Soft Contemporary Lifestyles? Our designers listen to your ideas, are creative and trained to execute the technical aspects with practical experience in renovations of new and existing homes.
Visual is easier than ever, communicating your dream vision to our design team for adaptation is a breeze. You can create your image board digitally or physically. Using magazines, google image searches, Pinterest or a number of other online tools you can create an excellent tool for our designers to begin the process.
Once your ideas have been engineered to match installation specs our designers begin the process of realization. Your dream is becoming real – our craftsmen will complete the project with care and consideration of your home. Sleek and simple, our process will take you from the idea to the finished room with accuracy and professionalism.
Catherine Whitney has successfully learned to work in both renovation and new construction projects and listens to the clients “wish lists”. Through her many years of experience, Catherine has also gained an extensive knowledge and understanding of all aspects of the project including Wood-Mode and Brookhaven cabinetry.
She has refined her skills as a designer and project manager, designing homes in Connecticut, New York, North and South Carolina and has been in the kitchen and bath design business since 1984.
Multi-tasking comes naturally to Tracy. As the mother of twin boys and 3 rambunctious hound dogs, Tracy is comfortable taking on a challenge and solving problems. Originally from Atlanta, Tracy started her journey in design at the University of Georgia, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design.
She then gained extensive experience in commercial interiors before beginning a 12-year tenure with Knoll, Inc., selling fine cabinetry and furniture throughout the southeast. After falling in love with the Carolinas, Tracy relocated to Charlotte in 2005 and began focusing solely on residential design.
